It’s one thing making something but how do you finish it?
In conjunction with the five day animal modelling course I will be offering glazing days where you can come and apply a variety of finishes to your creations.
9.30am start
There are an infinite number of ceramic finishes which depend on the type of clay, type of kiln, firing temperature so I will do my best for you, but again some compromises might have to be made. The cost of most of the finishes will be included but some of them will incur one off-costs for the more expensive finishes such as gold or other metallic lustres.
This part of the process in an expensive part and I have to accommodate the cost of the colours and the firing costs.
For this course, I can accommodate 6/7 people if needed.
General information
I am not able to provide lunch for any of these courses for you but I have a fridge, microwave and kettle in the workshop. I will supply tea, coffee and cold drinks, and also biscuits and maybe a cake if my Mum is around. There is ice-cream available from the Lavender shop and a whole range of lavender products.
If you are under 18 I would ask you to be accompanied by someone who is over 18. The minimum age is year 9 (age 13) upwards.
